Bury St Edmunds

We went to Bury St Edmunds because we have been to a lot of museums and quite a few castles and we thought it might be interesting to see another historical town to compare with Norwich.  We thought about how the town got its name and tried to find the burial site of St Edmund.  It was hard to imagine what the Abbey was like but we decided it made a very nice park - and the tulips were spectacular.  We went for a walk in the town.  Donna and Dom really liked it but the young people though Norwich was a lot better.

We liked the St Edmund teddy bear we found in one of the shops and thought about buying it as a present for Jake's new niece Elaine.  Then we saw the squirrel and it was so friendly Donna wanted to take it home with her.

We decided to go back to the minibus before we got carried away!  We lost Levi who phoned us from the police station - "Oh no, not again!" we thought, but it was alright he was only using it as a landmark.
